Trust & privacy
It knows your family's week. That's a serious thing to hand over.
Where your children are, and when, and who collects them, is among the most sensitive information a household has. Here is exactly what we do with it, and the things we've made it impossible for ourselves to do.
Trust & privacy
It knows your family's week. That's a serious thing to hand over.
Where your children go, and when, and who picks them up, is among the most sensitive information a family has. Here's exactly how we treat it.
There is no advertising business here to fund and no third party buying your household's patterns. The people paying for LifeSyncOS are the families using it.
It will draft the text to the carpool parent. You see the recipient, the channel and the exact words before anything goes out with your name on it.
AI extracts dates from a flyer and summarizes what changed. Who's driving, who agreed, and what's finished are settled by structured records and by you — never by a model's confidence.
Events imported from Apple or Google keep their original identity. The logistics you add here live in a separate layer, so we never quietly edit or duplicate something in your real calendar.
A teen, a grandparent, a sitter each sign in as themselves. A sitter invited for Thursday evening sees Thursday evening — not your week, your people or your documents.
Export the whole household as one file whenever you want. Delete the household and it is removed, not archived somewhere for us to keep.
Some of these aren't promises. They're things the app cannot do.
A privacy policy can be rewritten. An architecture is harder to change your mind about. Three whole categories were ruled out before a line of code was written, so there is no field to fill, no screen to surface it on, and no data to leak.
Being straight about the current stage: LifeSyncOS is in private beta and has not completed an independent security audit. We'll say so plainly on this page when it has. AI can be wrong, which is precisely why it is never the thing that decides.
In plain terms
What's kept, and what never touches this app.
What LifeSyncOS holds
- ✓Your household's people, their colours and their relationships to each other
- ✓Events read from calendars you connected, plus the logistics you add here
- ✓Who was asked to cover something, when, and what they answered
- ✓The text or image you chose to paste in, and what was extracted from it
- ✓Meals, care notes, routines and the lists that come out of them
What it never holds
- ✕Bank connections, balances, card numbers or any transaction
- ✕Weight, sleep, cycles, wellness check-ins, streaks or any body measurement
- ✕Your mailbox. There's no inbox scanning; you choose what comes in
- ✕Continuous location. It knows a pickup is at a school, not where anyone is right now
- ✕Advertising identifiers, because there's no advertising business to feed
About the AI
It's allowed to read. It's not allowed to decide.
This is a real architectural line, not a tone of voice. There are things a model is good at, and things that must never depend on one being right.
What AI does here
- ✓Pulls dates, times and names out of a flyer, an email or a screenshot
- ✓Notices that two messages describe the same real event
- ✓Summarises what changed, and why it might matter to you
- ✓Drafts the message you were going to send anyway
What it is never the authority on
- ✕Who is definitively driving, caring or responsible
- ✕Whether a person agreed, or agreed to the current terms
- ✕Whether something is finished
- ✕Whether a one-off change should rewrite your standing routine
- ✕Who is allowed to see what
Every one of those is settled by a structured record and by a person confirming it. A model that guesses wrong costs you one tap to correct. A model that was trusted to decide would cost you a missed pickup — so it isn't given the job.
Leaving
You can take it all and go, at any point.
One file, everything in it
Your whole household — people, events, coverage history, notes — in a single export you can keep or move elsewhere.
Gone means gone
Deleting the household removes it rather than hiding it from you while we keep a copy.
Your calendars stay yours
Because we never rewrote them, leaving doesn't damage anything. Your Apple or Google calendar is exactly as you left it.
No feature holds the door
Nothing important gets locked behind a plan you have to keep paying for to read your own history.
Being straight about the stage we're at: LifeSyncOS is in private beta and has not completed an independent security audit. When it has, that will be stated here with the date and who did it. Until then, please don't treat this as the only copy of anything that matters.
